Project Description

Video Title

Ohio Wants to Stop Fraud

Client: Hamilton County, Ohio Job and Family Services

Project Brief

The State of Ohio asked Hamilton County Jobs & Family Service to create a video highlighting when it’s not appropriate to use the Ohio Direction Card, a card for digital benefits transactions. This is the updated version of food stamps, and there are clear guidelines as to when it’s appropriate to use the card. Not telling the state of  changes in marital status, using it for a vacation, buying beer or cigarettes are all no-nos.

Panoptic Media was selected to create this video which highlights when it is illegal to use the card. We set a style and tone that’s easy to watch, while designing and producing this video in a fashion that explains situations where the card cannot be used. This makes the video appealing, clear and even cute, which makes it far more likely that viewers will assess proper use of the card.
